In this, Mr. Gateley draws, in vivid details, some of his fondest of memories. This memoir was published in December 2009. Dr. Ward E. Gateley was born January 3, 1925 and passed away April 29, 2013 in Huntsville, Alabama.

Ebenezer's Heroes A Tribute to Our Veterans

A dedication of a Vietnam Veteran, born and raised in Ebenezer, and still lives here and a WW-II Veteran, a lifelong resident, who raised a family here and is still an active member in the community.
Journey of Education in Ebenezer MO

An in depth and heart felt glimpse of a what first grade was like for two of Ebenezer's life-long residents in the community built brick schoolhouse that still stands in the heart of Ebenezer. A wonderful written and illustrated journey back in time.
A long forgotten and dilapidated log cabin, once the residence of a prominent pioneer of Greene County and County Judge, Elisha Headlee. Built in 1846, the two-story hand hewn cabin is ready for its next chapter...to be dismantled and reconstructed on a public site. The Butterfield Overland Mail Route

The Butterfield Overland Mail Company stage stop "Evans Station", here in Ebenezer! The Butterfield Overland Mail Company was the first Transcontinental Mail Route from St Louis MO to San Francisco CA, with a lateral route from Memphis TN to San Francisco CA. It is located just 1.25 miles SW of Ebenezer between Route WW and Route O along the east side of HWY 13.
